Swiss photographer Sébastien Closuit and the Cadillac XT5 Crossover have teamed up for an extraordinary road trip to explore a different side of Munich, and to capture the regions hidden sweet spots for outdoor enthusiasts.
Meet Sébastien Closuit
Viktualienmarkt, Allianz Arena, Nymphenburg Palace. Those are the touristic hotspots Munich is famous for. Worldwide. However, Sébastien Closuit seeks the unknown – or at least the not so well known. Outdoors is where he feels at home. After all, he was born and raised in Martigny, Switzerland. Nature is practically in his DNA. Till this very day he loves being outside, enjoying nature, and seeing new places and spots. So, it’s no surprise that he chose to take a different kind of road trip through the outback of Munich. Together with his camera and the Cadillac XT5 Crossover, he set out on an adventure.
And so it begins
The first stop of his road trip was the picturesque Staffelsee with its magnificent panorama mountain view. There’s no better place to explore nature then here, surrounded by acres of trees with the Alps hovering majestically on the horizon. And also the arrival itself stood for utmost travel comfort: The 3.6L V6 engine with 8- speed automatic transmission – 314hp (231kW) and 368 Nm – delivers effortless acceleration quietly and smoothly, while the responsive handling keeps you feeling firmly in control.
